Bee Wild North Weekend - September 2024Experience the adventure of living wild at our annual retreat

The Countdown Starts Here!

Join us on our 2024 'Bee Wild North' Annual Retreat

Come and join in the fun with an action-packed, alcohol-free weekend with the Bee Sober team.  Meet up with like-minded individuals and express your inner creativity.  Our Bee Wild events are held annually and in 2024 our Northern Event will be held on 13th-15th September, at Bowley Campsite & Activity Centre, Blackburn

We’ve got you covered with a bit of TLC and outdoor fun. The weekend will kick off early Friday evening, finishing lunchtime Sunday and will take place in Bowley Campsite & Activity Centre, Blackburn. Bowley Campsite is at the heart of East Lancashire. The centre occupies an area of 47 acres of rolling meadow land bounded by woodland and the River Calder, offering visitors magnificent views of Pendle and the surrounding countryside. With access to toilets and showers and a large seated hall where talks will take place! This year we have bunk beds in bunk house for those wanting a bit more convenience (see below).

Full schedule to be released nearer the time, but you can expect: – bee fit, yoga and meditation – inspirational talks about all sorts of topics! – outdoor and adventure workshops. All activities are completely optional so you can mix and match to make your perfect weekend!

Book early to avoid disappointment!  We are sure this is going to be a sell-out. We have 70 self-catering places to offer, in two options:

  • Bring your own tent - there are plenty of pitches and you have full use of the showers, hot water block etc.
  • Stay in the bunk house  - There are 6 bunk rooms each containing 4 spaces (you will still need all your camping equipment minus a tent). Please be aware that you may be sharing a room with someone you don't know as we do not allocate spaces in advance (but don't worry you'll know everyone soon enough anyway!).

Need to know:

Included in the ticket price is: your pitch/accommodation, tea/coffee, all activities, talks, workshops and bushcraft.

Not included in the price is: personal items, camping gear (including a tent, unless you choose the pitched tent), camping stove (although lots of people choose to just bring picnic food and boil-in-the-bag type foods to save them cooking. Hot water is available from the kitchen area), all food and drink and transport to and from the event: Bowley Campsite & Activity Centre, Blackburn. There is parking on site. Alcohol is NOT permitted. Children and dogs are not allowed to attend the event, please do email us () if you have any further questions.

The site does not allow anyone to use a live-in van or campervan.

Spaces are limited to just 70 so book early to avoid disappointment.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please do get in touch!

Bee Sober is committed to creating a diverse environment and therefore this event is open to everyone sober or sober curious regardless of race, colour, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status

***Bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.
