After overcoming an alcohol addiction myself I have a real passion for helping people in this area. Unfortunately, many years ago I bumped into the wine witch and she soon became my very best friend. Wherever I went she went with me ! To begin with I found her company such fun and she was very helpful. She gave me confidence, energy, enthusiasm, better looks, a great singing voice, wonderful dancing ability and much more....

I soon discovered that my so called friend was not liked very much. My kids were upset with her, my family and friends disliked her and my mental health and physical body suffered badly because of her. The only people who seemed to like her sadly took advantage of her. I cannot count how many black outs I had, it was scary. Where was she then?

So, I got rid of her ! WOW, life is so amazing now !

I spent years trying to help myself with my addiction. I learnt that the wine witch was numbing out very deep pain and trauma hidden from my past and it was only when I started my very much needed personal journey of looking within that I began to heal, love myself and learn to feel again !

I am so thankful to everyone who supported me through that time including the Bee Sober Team.

That was then and this is now.

This is why have have such a passion for helping people with addictions, whatever that addiction might be.

I am an Integrative Counsellor which means I use many different counselling approaches suited to my clients individual needs. I run my own practice in Bournemouth and also work with clients online anywhere in the UK and abroad. I am registered as a professional accredited member of the NCS (National Counselling Society)

I am also a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist and registered as a professional accredited member of the NHS (National Hypnotherapy Society)

I am also a Reiki Practitioner

I've been seeing clients for 12 years now and help children, teenagers, adults and couples. I am DBS checked.

I also support my local charity Counselling for Carers, The Leonardo Trust .
