I'm a mother, wife, and grandmother, with a professional career, who lives by the sea in North Wales. As I approach my 60th time around the sun I reflect on how grateful I am to be almost 2 years sober. Alcohol was always in my life from an early age, it was a norm to drink in my family. I lost my father when he was 48, then when alcohol also took my brother in 2017 my own use of alcohol increased. I realised that I had gone from a 'grey area' drinker who was already drinking too much, to someone who was isolating and using alcohol to cope with feelings of grief. Since finding freedom from alcohol I have discovered a wonderful zest for life. I have qualified as a Sobriety Coach, and have also completed a 30 hour Sober Curious Yoga Teacher Training. I am looking forward to working with you, to offer accountability, support and encouragement, and to help you to create a plan of action to build a better life.
