Bee Sober Affiliated Counsellor Terms & Conditions

Overview

Bee Sober is a non-profit organisation offering support and social interaction for people who wish to live a sober lifestyle.

The Parties agree and acknowledge that the Affiliated Counsellor shall offer a counselling service, in connection with Bee Sober operating through The Bee Sober Official Website.

The Bee Sober Brand

As an affiliated Bee Sober counsellor, you are representing the Bee Sober brand and its ethos. Although we do not expect our affiliated counsellors to be sober themselves, we do ask that they do not encourage, advocate or discuss alcohol as a stress-reliever during any meetings.

Please be aware that your clients may also be taking part in our Bee Sober support services to maintain and establish sobriety, for example, Bee Sober Membership, drop-in lounges, sober support lounges, coaching services and our 30-day Sober Experiment.

Please note, we do not and cannot guarantee the counsellor any clients but we will forward enquiries to our counsellors as they arise.

Communications Agreement

We agree to post your listing on our Bee Sober website with the information you provide us.  We ask for £55 one-off fee to cover the cost of the website development for your listing.  Please provide accurate and specific availability information to us so we can set up a booking form.  You may amend these details at any time by emailing us at .

Client's will contact you directly using the contact details you have provided to arrange an initial consultation, please respond promptly to arrange their care.  From this point, you are resposible for your own client contract and payment arrangements.

Bee Sober CIC will not charge for client introduction, however, we do ask that you make ad hoc donations to our community fund as a goodwill gesture for any appointments that come via our website.  You can make your donation here.

As a CIC we make every attempt to provide our members with services they might not otherwise be able to afford.  We therefore ask that affiliated counsellors provide our Bee Sober member's with a discounted rate and priority booking - please ask clients for their Bee Sober Membership Number at the time of booking.  This number will start BSL or BSA and you may check this with us before agreeing their member's rate price.  If we fund the session directly from our community fund (for a client who may not have the financial means to pay for themselves), we ask you to provide us with a concessionary rate of £30 per session - we will contact you directly if we wish to take advantage of this.  If a Bee Sober member arranges an initial consultation with you and cannot afford to pay the rate for future sessions, please refer to them to the Member's area on our website where they can log in and apply for assistance through the community fund.

The affiliated counsellor agrees to these terms of payment and will honour the ongoing agreement throughout the term of the counselling.
