I have over 20 years’ experience of supporting people through life’s difficulties. I have worked within a variety of settings, inpatient, rehabilitation, hospice, and community, covering a spectrum of issues such as addiction, bereavement, and mental health.
I take pride in my work as a therapist, I am passionate about the benefits of what counselling and complimentary therapies offer and how they can create a balanced state of well-being within our everyday life.
My learnings, teachings and experience are what I want to share with you, whilst walk along the side of you within your journey, helping you to fit the pieces together within your life, creating a balance of well-being.
My journey of my healing and self-development started in 2001 leading me to become a qualified therapist in 2006, however I continue to learn and grow each day, and this reflects in my practice.
I believe that we all deserve to have a life worth living and we all need to, at times work through what is holding us back in achieving this. This is my passion, and my ethics and values reflect within the work that I do and who I am as a person.
I also work under the code of ethics of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) as a registered member for counselling. I am proud to also be a member of the FHT (Federation of Holistic Therapies) regarding the complimentary therapies I offer.
I am registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) in line with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), I have an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Certificate and fully insured.
In my spare time, I love to spend it with my family, running, socialising with friends, learning and being creative. I have an interest in the five ways to wellbeing.
