I live in rural Cumbria with my husband, on the borders of Scotland and Northumbria. I love gardening, cooking, arts and crafts, walking, swimming and spending time with family and friends.
Looking back I can see that I’ve wrestled with my relationship with alcohol since my early twenties, knowing I was drinking too much but not knowing how to stop.
A very good friend introduced me to The Annie Grace 30 day Alcohol Experiment in January 2021, when my alcohol-free journey started seriously. I soon discovered tools to help me, judgement-free support and most importantly connection with people on the same journey. It’s not been plain sailing but lasting change finally seems in my reach!
I feel physically and mentally so much stronger but know that this journey requires connection and support, so I would love to meet other alcohol-free people in my area so we can support each other.
