Hi I'm Jackie. I'm 58 years young and Yorkshire born and bred! I'm married to James and we have two young cats, Nora and Nellie.
My first ever drink was a 'Snowball' one Christmas Eve when I was a little girl. I wanted it to snow and my dad said that if I drank it then we would get snow for Christmas day. We did! So this was my first association of what grown up drinks could do for me!!!
Fast forward to now and I will be one year alcohol free on the 25th of September 2022.
I love walking, all aspects of nature, gardening, cooking and baking, reading, music and generally having a dabble with anything that takes my fancy! I love learning and I'm constantly on the look out for the next project.
Over the years I've travelled to places such as Uganda, China, India , Peru and Bolivia to name but a few and my dream would be to do these kind of trips again in the future(pennies and health permitting)
My nickname is Dory - but I do try to remember the important things:)
